Going square

Well, as I said in my into I just recently got into crocheting, Can not believe how quick it is to make these squares up compared to knitting.  Well its been less than a week since i got the bug for it and well, I lost count of how many squares I have done, (see picture) as you can see it's a work in process and well the plan is to make all the square plus a load more into a blanket for our bed. This is such a great way of using up the small bit of yarn stash i have. And of course I will post pictures of the finished item when I am done. Well, I hope you are all well and not going crossed eyed like me. 

Hello World

Hello world, My names Bex, but I like to be known in the internet world as Grissy. Well, first of all I am a lover of all crafts and that is what I am hoping to share mainly on this blog. Hopefully it will give you ideas like so many of the blogs I have seen. You never know I might even be able to do some tutorials in the future?? 

Well, I suppose I better let you know a little more about me. First, I am engaged to a wonderful man Name Andrew. Secondly, I love animals. At the moment we have 4 cats, 3 fish, some snails in with the fish (too many to count) and some pill bugs. Also during the winter we may rescue  hedgehogs if they have been disturbed or out at the wrong time of the day. To be honest any animal we see that need help if we can we take them in and help them, so don't be surprised if you also hear about out animal family along the way. 

So ok, I said I love all crafts and if I get the chance I give any craft a try. My main crafts that I do the is Paper crafting, knitting and recently crocheting as well. I have made thing from clay, done a bit of jewelry and woodwork too in my many years of crafting. I have always loved crafting since I was a young child.
